BIOLOGY UNDERLIES THERAPY RESPONSE

OncoScore™ was developed based on the premise that gene expression patterns in cancer reflect the underlying biology of the tumor type and are therefore predictive and capable of stratifying patients based on prognosis or response to therapy. The molecular heterogeneity of cancer can be reduced to a small number of core gene expression "modules" of biological function which correspond to cell lineage, pathway activation, de-regulation of a cellular process, genomic alterations or tumor microenvironment, enabling complex biological patterns to be reduced to a smaller set of representative genes.

OncoScore Breast and OncoScore Colon assays are available while other cancer types are under development.
